This was a lovely  older condo with a very relaxing atmosphere, great porch, kitchen we could really cook in.  Primarily, within easy walk/drive to Novant Ortho Hospital-a perfect ‘home away from home’ when we needed a private family space.

Doug was a great host, his place was in my favorite location in CLT and was very comfortable for 2 people. He responded almost immediately and provided things upon request, such as baking pans, as we stayed almost 3 weeks. I will stay in any of Doug's places again! We walked everywhere and enjoyed the beautiful neighborhood. He even provided flowers, champagne and a beautiful card when he found out my daughter was getting married (hence the reason I was there so long). Thank you!

My friends and I loved our weekend stay at Doug's condo! It was pristine and beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed to feel settled in. The location was fantastic, situated in a beautiful and private neighborhood, and it was easy to get into the city. The host was incredibly helpful with clear instructions and ready to handle any issues we might have had. I cannot recommend this condo enough and will definitely be revisiting next time I'm in Charlotte!

All the stars! This is hands down our favorite place to stay in Charlotte and truly feels like our home away from home. Everything is always comfortable, welcoming, and just as we hope it will be. We also really appreciate the thoughtful touches, especially the starter coffee and snacks - they’re always such a nice welcome after traveling. We love staying here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We decided to try an apartment instead of a hotel in Uptown for our visit to Charlotte. What a great choice we made! The apartment was ideal for both the space and location. Easy parking, access and drive into Uptown.The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The balcony was perfect for enjoying morning coffee, relaxing and reading. This apartment has lots of charm from a different era but has all the upgrades to make it very comfortable. Loved the unique and lively decor, it really made the space very interesting. The kitchen was fully equipped and ready for use. The bed was very comfortable, clean and sturdy.The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this apartment for an out of the ordinary stay.

The apartment was great for our last minute stay. Perfect location, close to everything and very peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet but walkable and we saw plenty of people out and about first thing in the morning. The apartment itself is the perfect size, offing us enough space to spread out. I do wish I had gotten up a bit earlier to enjoy the screened in porch a bit more. Overall it was a great experience!

Absolute gem of an apartment in the beautiful, walkable Queens Rd area. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a stocked kitchen. Loved the screened porch. Doug was very kind, responsive, and helpful. Would certainly stay here again.

The property was the perfect “home away from home” for our 10-day stay. The surrounding area is beautiful and ideal for walking and exploring. The location is very convenient to SouthPark Mall, Levine Cancer Institute, Atrium and Novant Health, Bank of America Stadium, and the downtown area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the unit was extremely clean and beautifully appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

This small apartment was perfect for our week stay. It is cozy, well equipped with the essentials, in a great location to walk to shops and restaurants and have a parking spot if you have a rental car. Communication with our host Doug was excellent. He is sways available and responds immediately to any questions or needs you may have. We will be back for sure!

Best VRBO experience we’ve ever had! The owner was fantastic with communications, so responsive prior to our stay as we had questions. Several thoughtful touches like coffee from a local roastery, some snacks and drinks, etc. Peaceful, residential location close to coffee shops, grocery store, & restaurants. We stayed several days - so much more comfortable than a hotel room, especially the porch.
