The Home Collection offers thoughtfully designed residences in some of Charlotte's most desirable historic neighborhoods. Guests can enjoy tree-lined streets, nearby parks, locally owned restaurants and shops, original artwork, live plants, and interiors that blend classic character with modern comfort. Many residences also include a screened porch, balcony, or fireplace. The experience is designed to feel personal, polished, and distinctly Charlotte, more like living in the neighborhood than simply visiting it.

Our residences welcome a wide range of guests, including business travelers, consultants, families, couples, friends traveling together, relocating homeowners, guests completing home renovations, insurance-displacement stays, traveling physicians, and patients or families who need to be near Charlotte's major hospitals. The atmosphere is best suited to guests who value beautiful surroundings, comfort, privacy, and a quiet place to recharge.

Why stay with The Home Collection instead of a hotel?

You get the comfort and privacy of a beautifully furnished residence with significantly more room to settle in. Enjoy a full kitchen, separate living and dining spaces, thoughtfully chosen furnishings, and, at many locations, a private balcony, screened porch, or fireplace. Just as important, you stay in a real Charlotte neighborhood with parks, dining, shops, and local favorites close to your door.

Are there discounts for weekly and monthly stays?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Weekly and monthly stays are offered at reduced rates, and those savings are reflected in our booking calendar. For stays of 91 nights or longer, sales and occupancy taxes are not required under the terms currently applicable to our longer stays.

Yes. We welcome pets at qualifying residences. Please review our Pet Policy before booking for current requirements, fees, and any property-specific restrictions.

Deposit requirements vary by reservation. Please refer to your rental agreement for the terms that apply to your stay.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to book with The Home Collection.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Reservations are booked securely through our website.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Reservations may be canceled at any time. Cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in receive a full refund less a 3% credit card processing fee. Cancellations made 7 to 13 days before check-in receive a 50% refund less the 3% processing fee. Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are nonrefundable, and early departures are not eligible for refunds.

Why do you charge sales and occupancy tax?

North Carolina law requires sales and occupancy tax on qualifying short-term accommodations. In Mecklenburg County, the combined sales and occupancy tax shown on our current booking terms totals 16.25% for stays of 90 nights or less. Longer stays of 91 nights or more are not subject to those taxes under the current rules reflected in our booking terms.

Are your residences suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Families are welcome, and many of our locations are close to parks and walkable neighborhood streets. Pack and plays, cribs, and highchairs are available for a nominal fee. Please note that the residences are not specifically childproofed.

Do you have options for guests with limited mobility?

•    510 Queens 101, 102 and 103 (all one-bedroom) are all downstairs and have no stairs/ledge to access the unit. We also have 1 permanent handicap spot in our parking lot directly by the apartment, and have extra signs in the basement if we need to block off and designate another spot. These units have also been recently installed with additional shower grab bars and we have put in shower stools as well. The stool is in the unit 24/7 and is located in the living room closet. While it is a walk-in shower, there is a very small ledge there.
    •    For two-bedrooms, we would recommend Magnolia 2. The shower is a tub combo, but David has put in grab bars here as well to assist getting in and out. The front door does have a few steps to climb, but the back door through the porch is directly linked to the parking lot and by their assigned parking spot and with only a small ledge leading in to make coming in easier.
    •    Lamar’s bottom floor is completely flat with no ledges to enter the building, however, parking in the back can be tight, and it is a gravel parking lot. This unit would be suitable for someone who has difficulty with stairs, but we would not recommend wheelchairs here.

Yes. Many of our condos are located within walking distance of Atrium and Novant, and we regularly host patients, families, and traveling clinicians for weeks or months at a time. Message us your dates and situation and we'll match you to the right building and a monthly rate.
